About me
Nahanga has been a dedicated and passionate lecturer and researcher at Mendel University
in Brno (Mendelu) with over 9 years of experience and expertise in international economics,
development economics, agricultural economics, and data analysis.
Nahanga received his
first (BSc in Socioeconomic and Environmental Development in 2011), second (MSc in
Socioeconomic and Environmental Development in 2013) and third (PhD in Business
Management and Economics in 2016) degrees from Mendelu. Additionally, Nahanga has
completed many courses, including Essential IT Skills (Level 2) at Vision2learn, UK; Data
Citizen Skills Bootcamp (Level 3) at Cambridge Spark, UK; Academic Writing and Presentation
Skills at Atlantic Language School, Galway, Ireland; and Farm Data Management, Sharing and
Services for Agricultural Development at CTA/UN FAO.
As a managing editor and a board member of one of the Mendelu academic journals,
Nahanga promotes, reviews, and ensures the readability and quality of published papers. He
is also an editorial board member of IntechOpen UK.
Additionally, he has won and participated in both internal and international projects. As an
accomplished researcher, Nahanga has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in several
journals using econometric and statistical approaches.
Nahanga has won, supervised, and participated in internal and international projects. He is
highly interested in food security and agrifood economics, human migration, international
business, FDI, economic growth and development.
